Here are details of some of the larger events we have lined up over the coming months. Your Unit Guider will be able to tell you about events that occur as part of your weekly meetings.

Centenary Launch: Girlguiding UKGuides (September 2009): Anniversary of the Crystal Palace Weekend, where girls first attended a Scout Rally and asked Baden-Powell if he could design a programme for girls. Events for this special weekend will be announced nearer the time. Guide Centenary Event: South West EnglandGuides (August 2010): Camp to celebrate 100 years of Guiding. 3000 Guides and Leaders on each of the six days, each staying 24 hours to ensure as many as possible can take part.
