Adopting an Aye-Aye: 35th Bath Brownies

35th Bath Brownies are adopting an Aye-Aye! We think they are cute and cudley. Brownies did a sponsored swim and raised £50 but the Aye-Aye was £25 so we have £25 left.

The 35th Bath Brownies went swimming to raise money for "Adopt a Monkey". We got sponsors to raise the money. Most of us did a big swim.

Summer Fun: Bath Division

The end of the Summer term is always a busy time. Across the Division, there were end of term parties for Rainbows, Brownies and Guides. There were many enrollments, and some farewells as Rainbows left for Brownies, Brownies became Guides, Guides looked forward to Senior Section and Senior Section members left for University! Many units have activities planned for the Summer; from day trips to week long camps, so when everyone gets back in September - watch this space for news!



What the Brownies thought of the Sleepover!: 35th Bath Brownies

Here is what some of the girls had to say about the Giant Sleepover in June:

First we arrived and my Mum helped put my stuff in the back room. Then we played some games. Then we had a snack and made friendship bracelets. Then we had our tea. Then we went outside and played a game. Then we came back in and set up our beds and got our PJs on and then we played another game. Then I brushed my teeth and went to bed. I couldn't get to sleep and some other people couldn't get to sleep! In the morning we went to church.

We played lots of games until very late and the earliest one asleep went to sleep at 12 o'clock! We made friendship bracelets then had tasty party tea. Next we played more games then got ready for bed. In the morning I had Rice Crispies for breakfast then we went to church and sang songs.

Sounds like both these girls enjoyed themselves!
