Bath's Guiding Stars Selected!: Girlguiding UK

Each year, there is a national pop concert "The Big Gig" arranged especially for members of Girlguiding UK at a major venue and featuring well known stars. The 2007 event will be different becausetwo of the acts will be "Guiding Stars" that have been selected from members of the Guides nationally - what an opportunity! Ten very brave individuals or groups from Bath took part in an X-factor type talent show at the end of January when they performed in front of a panel of judges, parents and friends. Everyone did very well and the judges had a hard time choosing who would go forward to the next round in March. Those selected were Lottie singing "Everytime we touch" and Harriet singing "You give me something". The only entrant in the 16+ category was Aimee, who also goes through. Everyone who took part was awarded a certificate and a prize. Congratulations to all involved!
